Non-partisan political fact-checker.

Viral Spiral addresses internet rumors. FlackCheck.org is the political literacy companion site to FactCheck.org.

Partisan fact-checker.

Open Secrets
Non-partisan political fact-checker.
Open Secrets focuses on tracking money in U.S. politics and examines the effects on elections and public policy. It champions transparency and and exposes disproportionate or undue influence on public policy.

Politifact
Non-partisan political fact-checker.

Snopes
Independent, non-partisan fact-checker.

Washington Post’s Fact Checker
Non-partisan political fact-checker.
The Post‘s Fact Checker website, and its accompanying column appearing in the Sunday print edition of the Post, is run by journalist Glenn Kessler. It examines statements of importance by political figures and government officials, both in the U.S. and abroad.
