It seems the FTC is going to make the marketers of homeopathic pills have
their labels state that there is no scientific evidence that they work.
It's a step in the right direction, but I would like to see them banned
outright.

I like this part, "The most exhaustive review of the evidence for homeopathy
yet came out of the Australian government. Its conclusion: The treatment
doesn't work, and people should stop wasting their time, money, and
potentially their health on what amounts to junk science."

That is very funny, because the Australians have no clues about MANY
parts of homeopathy. I phoned with Glasziou and he was astonished about
the news I had for him.

The irony of that is that coming from the Australian government. She
contually tries to trash the US government And this time it's coming from
her own. Of course she will pretend not to see this.

They have a large file on her. She's trying to keep a low profile by
not criticizing them here. ;-)

Which might explain her not using her own name.

When deciding on medical treatment, we must weigh the risks involved. Among
those risks are a *90% chance of survival and a healthier future, all with or
without the aid of maintenance drugs, *a 10% chance of dying from a medical
accident and *0% chance of a healthy outcome without treatment or using
alternative remedies which is the same as no treatment.

In deciding to use a medicine, or maintenance drug, the risks of taking the
medicine must be weighed against the good it will do. This is a decision you
and your doctor will make.

This is the problem when old tradition dogmatic beliefs are faced with
science. The resistance is make believe is very and tends to lash back.

I recently seen a terrible hatchet job by a quack-o-practor aimed at
vaccines which a family that had their children come down with steep throat
a ( bacteria infection ) after being giving a influenza vaccine (virus).
One type of infection can not be coupled with another, and the children had
most likely already been exposed and may have even been running a low grade
fever. The quack-o-practor should stick to the scam practice and not play
at being a real doctor.

No, they do not. FDA and FTC are fucking stupid. The did nothing but
call for a "Quack Miranda" label. That is nothing else but driving the
homeopaths into the "baaaad government!" conspiracy mania, which they
ALREADY exploit for decades.

Nothing has changed. Nothing.

The US government is finally telling people that homeopathy is a sham

The US government also believes that ongoing war is necessary for
peace and that its important to spend trillions on war and bombs.

Collusion Between Pharmaceutical Industry and Government Deepens
http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2012/08/02/merck-flu-vaccine-conflicts.aspx

"The Drug Industry - commonly called Big Pharma, has no ethical
restrictions. The death, or damage, of millions of humans is of no
concern to them until that information about that damage and death
becomes public. They have been caught too many times to deny it. That
damage and death is, to them, just part of doing business. There has
never been a time when a Big Pharma drug lord has seen the inside of a
prison cell, much less been put on trial, and condemned to death for
what they did, like what happened to a former Chinese FDA leader. So,
there are NO ETHICAL INCENTIVES. - See more at:

Unfortunately it is very profitable for the drug industry to get the
medical profession to promote vaccines to the general population. Drug
companies are corporations and they do not have a duty to “do no
harm”. Their only duty is to make money and “mitigate” any liability
the company might be forced to deal with in a court of law. And since
the Supreme Court decision in 2011, Bruecewitz versus Wyeth, they have
been exempted from all liability regarding their vaccine products. It
is important the public doesn’t forget this as it is very unlikely
your physician or anyone who works for public health will remind you
of this reality.

Of Course I'm Anti-Vaccine...
I Have a Brain.
I don't care one bit about the fact that 102 people across the country
have measles. I do care, very much, however, that one in sixty-eight
children in America are now Autistic (vaccine damaged). I care even
more that one in six children in America are neurologically damaged. -

As usual Carole ignored the subject of this thread, 'Homeopathy Crackdown".
Of course, Carole is not a homeopathic practitioner anyway so the crackdown
does no bother her. means nothing to her.

You're correct.

Carole drinks "baking soda in a little water" for her foot fungus as
well as her substitute for every variation available from the
homeopathic product lineup.

She also did "calcium tablets" for her kids' dental cavities and head lice.

I wonder what she does for her brain constipation.

This goes hand in hand with her belief and touting of the healing qualities
and nutritious values in our food and her constant claim that Doctor are not
taught about nutrition in medical school.
