This looks like a very low carb diet. Something we might try.

is that both work well for modern-era "cave men" and Mediterranean
natives, respectively, but they are each difficult to implement
completely and consistently by middle-to-late-aged Americans.
The best Americans should hope for is to make incremental but consistent
dietary changes using elements from these two dietary approaches.
Making permanent change to life style and eating habits in present-day
American culture is very difficult, in my view. To expect otherwise
is a prescription for failure.
