Will you be posting to this ng from the desert, as in the past?

That's the plan. I expect to make a connection to the net at least every
third day. WInLink/WinMail was not the best over HF the last few weeks
because we seem to be near the bottom of the solar cycle. I might try to
set up a Mesh net if I can find a place to set one end with a solid
connection. It all depends on hole isolated the camp site is going to be. I
will be spending about over a weeks at Quartzfest this year, and have
committed to operating a special event as well as teaching two classes at
the end of February so I will be cutting our trip south a little short. The
other side of the coin is as soon as spring breaks we will head north along
the coast.
